Miles's Lee quote

Per espn
"We're going to continue to evaluate our quarterback position, and frankly we're going to expect more out of the position," Miles said. "I think both those guys can give it to us. I think Jefferson definitely can, and we're going to encourage Lee because he's a guy who's going to have to win games for us as we go forward."
If Lee is going to have to win games for us going forward,
does that mean he's going to play? What games does he have in mind that Lee is gonna have to win? If he's going to play soon, can everyone stop complaining?

I think he means, "I call so many designed QB runs, there is no way my starter makes it through the year."

Les Miles has a want to use the read option with a QB who can't read.

Gentlemen, Just a little obervation from an old ball coach. JJ seems to not know how to run the option. He seems to always pitch the ball way to early. Most of the time he is way to deep in the back field rather than taking one drop step and slide down the line. Our running backs are usually six to eight yard deep in the back field when they get the ball. Anytime the defense player that JJ is reading off of gets any where close he pitches the ball. One the read opition you have to make the read player commit before you pitch. Sometimes the quarter has to take a hit to make the play work. JJ just won't take a hit.

I can see that, you can see that, most of the fan base can see that.....why can't the coaching staff see that? Why do they continue to try and run the option with JJ?
They need to start playing to his strengths rather than his weaknesses.

JJ appears to have lost his confidence and is struggling...Based off the body language of the players, they seem to be thinking the same?

When Lee's in, the whole offense is so excited.
