I think Greg Strudrawa is a bigger deal than being first year starters.

If we had Cam in 2012 we would've been a top 5 team.

Which of those teams had an Offensive Line coach calling plays?

How the hell is this thread still going? Some people just live to attack people who's jock they are not qualified to hold.

it really reflects poorly on our collective psyche.

this is an anonymous board. these attackers are cowards who can only be stupid on anonymous boards.
they were nurtured by very negative sarcastic parents and they believe that being humans means being like their parents.

boards like this is the only place in society that they can spew their shite without getting smacked silly.

Hmm, let's look at the last two years of teams with "first year starters":

2014 Ohio St, Alabama
2013 Florida St, Auburn

So you think its easy to do and EVERY 1st year QB should be able to do it EVERY year at ANY school.

Grats to those schools, but it's an anomaly. It's quite possible that wont be accomplished in the next 10 years. Who knows.

But don't throw it around like it should be a "gimme".

I guaran-fricking-tee you that Zach Mettenberger could have had Blake Sims season at Alabama. Don't pretend that Sims = Mett.

Don't tell me that Cardale Jones in his first 3 games as a college qb is that much better than Mettenberger. Ohio St and Alabama just put their quarterbacks in a better chance to succeed. LSU ran the 2011 hide the qb offense with Mett for the first 2/3 of the 2012 season.

Okay, if you want to go back and look, we were a 48% passing team. 48% of the time we threw incompletions.

That would be 52% incompletions, Les.

Lane Kiffin
Jimbo Fischer
Urban Meyer
Gus Malzhan
Greg Studrawa

One of these things is not like the others.

I hope this was meant for someone else. I am not attacking anyone. We are discussing a new hire based on his past results in the same position.

He is apparently a great guy. This is not personal.

Les Miles

Why does Les Miles get to wash his hands in all of this? Since 2009 we have had 3 different coordinators. Have you not seen the similarities in our offenses?

Lets not even acknowledged that the sec was way down this year. Lsu finished 1st in the sec in defense and there were cbs with more sacks than our dlineman.

Wow, we must have won the national title in 2012. At the very least the conference title. Finish in the top 10

12th. Let me guess this beneath lsu..posters forget how many players we lost to injury in 2012.
We lost 3 starting oline, starting rb, 2 starting lbs. And we lost tm7 before the season.

Are fricking serious. A 5th year senior and a redshirt sophmore ( 3 games from being a redshirt junior) is not the same thing as a true sophomore.

My gosh, you have an excuse for everything don't you?

Well, thanks for explaining it to me. Les Miles is not at fault for any short comings of the LSU football program. The guy is just unlucky.

No he wasn't. Lee had his shite games in 2011. Oregon, kentucky, and bama were horrible games by Lee.

Les Miles hired Steve Kragthorpe to be the Offensive Coordinator at LSU in 2011 before Kragthorpe was diagnosed with Parkinson's.

True or False?

Flynn spent 3 years with Miles. But he doesnt support your argument.
Mett spent 3 years and WAS RECRUITED by Miles. Posters act like Mett was groomed at UGA. He spent a total of 6 months on the Georgia campus.he enrolled in the fall of 09 and was dismissed in april of 2010. Mett also got far better after 2012. JLee and JJ also became better qbs.

Let me guess youre gonna say how horrible JJ was in 2011.
6tds-1 int 63% compl 137.8 qb rating (higher than Flynn's in 07 ) 300 yards rushing and 3 tds in 2011.

Mett was a redshirt junior in 2012.
