Why change?!?!

double edged sword...they didn't want a possible repeat of the play where a safety was 1-on-1 with Cooper. You want to keep everything in front of you and make the other team burn clock on short plays. Not having Reid probably hurt as well. It turned out to be the wrong strategy, but many d-c's would have done the same thing. Having the extra 3 points that Alleman missed would have helped.

This one is on Chavis, but....

Just hope clm learns from his mistakes in this game

This has been said every season since he's been hired. I know the man's record is outstanding but in a huge number of his losses his coaching has been very questionable. Is LSU running a 4mil a year coaching clinic for this guy or what? Don't get me wrong, don't think he should lose his job but damn. He makes bone-headed mistakes every fricking season that costs these players a chance to play for all the marbles. shite's getting old

I couldn't sleep last night, this morning I was still on suicide watch, but now I am feeling better. There is a lot of blame to pass around, most of my anger is against 'Chief' for his soft coverage/prevent on the last drive. But what's done is done, before the Bama game, we all praised Chief this year for his work with the D, and other than a couple of late drives in a couple of games, they have been 'lights out' all year. Miles takes some blame for his gambles yesterday, but if they worked,we would be calling him a genius today. Miles is not going anywhere, sure, we are all frustrated, but this program is still top 5 in football, year after year. Think of how many other schools in the country would die to be in our position. I would rather have a heartbreaking loss to #1 Bama than endure the embarrasment of the Curly Halman years. Be appreciative folks...we are still on a high level...
