Miles gets beat on the river.

To make a poker analogy, it seems like Leslie is in good shape with recuits then BLAM! the river card tears our hearts out.
What is really impressive though is that even with these tough losses he, LM, still pulls top ten classes every year. He seems to take it in stride.
I'm happy with his recruiting efforts and as my grand-pappy used to say..."This too shall pass". All we have to do is weather the storm.

Anybody who says Miles was beat on this is a moron.
Miles was able to recruit one of the top QB prospects in the country. That's pretty flippin' good.
Dodgers money-whipped the kid with $5mil. How was Miles "beat"? To suggest this as Miles being "beat" would assume that Miles couldn't come up with as good an offer as the Dodgers. Oh wait, Miles is coach of an NCAA Div 1 school, not an NFL GM.
Get off the Miles bashing for this. He did everything he could to keep Zach at LSU. If Zach had refused $5mil to stay at LSU he would be just as much a moron as the guys who say Miles was "beat" by the Dodgers.

You need to take an effing Zanex. I wasn't inferring that Miles got beat on this deal, I was inferring that he has had some bad luck lately with QB's.
You're an idiot!

The only thing I fault Miles for, is not keeping Garrett around.
