Are you seriously saying a ##2 finish is a black mark?

Yup.. Who cares about finishing 2nd?????

We , in fact, do have a chance at a top 15 finish

That's an opinion.... We MIGHT finish with a top 15 finish.. We might also finish outside the top 15....

quote:

His tenure was worse than the last 5 year of Miles, which yoh love to gripe about,in wins and losses

AGAIN...Its not always about wins and losses... LSU'S program was in the shitter in 2000 when Saban got here.. He helped get LSU sALOT better facilities and put them back on the map in a sense.. He brought LSU its 1st NC in almost 50 years in 2003 with a team that was overall better than ANY team Miles has had from start to finish....

No shite dumbass. That's why the statement, " we have A CHANCE at a top 15 finish is a fact. How stupid are you?

And if we are grading Saban the same way you grade Miles, he backed into that title and lost to a far inferior Florida team.

Look I've repeatedly said I'm ready for a new head coach but I refuse to shite in our past teams. There are players that sacrificed for those seasons and most of those players will never make money from football. I don't do shite to make lsu football a better product so I'm not gonna sit here and say what level if success I will accept and call top 15 finishes, mediocre. If yall want to shite on athletic achievements that are better than anything you've ever come close too, then fine.

I still love yall . especially Peej and RTR. Love yall like a little sister.

No one listens to what Miles has to say anymore. His preseason comments are usually contrary to the truth.

Ignore and hope for the best.

But I wont crap on him ever.

I applaud your loyalty to the man.
I, however, was in the camp that didnt want him in the first place. His record at OSU just wasnt that impressive.

I think crapping on him would entail attacking him personally...which no one is specifically doing. His coaching exploits are fair game. I suppose I could take the high road and support the man unconditionally but I'm in the real estate game....where there is no such thing as the high road.
Miles complacency in addressing key areas of concern and his comments in recent weeks about the lack of changes needed tells me what I need to know....that the man doesn't SEE the problems.
At the very least he should have told Peveto to fuq off and get lost. Apparently, he wants to keep him. What does that say about his willingness to improve the STs. CC also doesnt appear to be going anywhere. the thought of those 2 bumbling around with the offense next year again is depressing. He and his disciples think he can turn it around...bully for them. just because they say it with conviction doesnt mean it will happen.

Not as much as Miles team did.....

Miles lost to UK and Arkie with far better talent... And the 2003 team WON when it mattered most... FACT... Miles 2011 team shite the bed when it mattered most...FACT........ I will give and have given Miles a ton of credit for winning in 2007. We were the much better team over OSU... But that was 8 years ago and means nothing now....

Just like there is a CHANCE we can inish outside the top 15 even with a win... BTW what ya gonna say if LSU comes out and lays an egg like they did against Ole miss???

NO ONE is shiteing on the past teams. My ire is directed solely at what Miles has done SINCE 1/9. That beef is with his decisions, or lack there of, alone...NOT with the players who can only perform as well as they are coached.

You talked about Harris's issues earlier in a post. Who is responsible for him looking like that after the kid has been here for 2 1/2 year!!!!! Obviously he is partly responsible, but the coaches are in charge for a reason. AJ's lack of development....how do you explain that? Again, another highly touted QB that comes here and flounders. It defies logic that we could continue to look this inept in one half of our offensive package.

We had 508 yards of offense against Ole miss. Isn't that what you all both about? How our offense hinders our def and we have crap offense? Outside of 2 games our offense was decent this year. If we lose I'll say the same thing I always say. We didn't play well and it would be nice to have a better head coach.

Saban came in when our program was hot garbage. He wasnt replacing someone who had elevated the program and made LSU a brand name.

OK, so we are all in agreement, the only difference is where you say it would be "NICE", we say it is "Necessary"

"Miles Men" are in the Cult that says keep him no matter

Ha ha you have found be kidding.calling our last 5 years mediocre is shitting on our past teams. Our past 5 years have produced rankings that only 1 other sec program has accomplished and only 5 programs in all of cfb. The last 5 years have produced 4 out of 5 top 15 finishes. Finishing top 15 4 out of 5 years while playing in the hardest division in cfb is a great accomplishment. If it was so easily done why is the only sec program to attain it is Bama? Posters like you act like winning 9 games every year is easy to do when facts prove the exact opposite. From 2009-2013 only 4 programs won at least 9 games every year.4 and one was lsu.

Did you not read my entire post? I said his progress is entirely on the coaches. I've repeatedly said Miles need to stop recruiting dual threat qbs and asking them to do things they've never done under center.

quote:

Again, another highly touted QB that comes here and flounders. It defies logic that we could continue to look this inept in one half of our offensive package.

Many posters on here actually think our offensive scheme is simple when in fact the prostyle offense is, by far, the most complexoffense in all of football. It's been proven that when we have experienced qbs our passing is pretty good ( 2006, 2007, 2011 JLee and JJ both had good qb ratings and 2013). This is one of my main gripes with Miles. He should know how hard it is for an inexperienced prostyle qb to pick up our offense leg alone a dual threat qb. Dual threat qbs are being asked to do things they have never been asked to do. Take snaps under center, call plays in the huddle, read defenses while taking 3,5, or 7 step drops, throw open wrs. He is being asked to move within a pocket instead of tucking and running once his pocket gets muddy. I just wish we would stop recruiting dual threat qbs and asking them to play aways from their strengths.
That's also another thing I don't agree with Miles on. It seems we don't really try to play to our player's strengths. Most play callers call situations plays that can set defenses up for future plays bur I never see this from our staff. We also have way to many brain farts coming out of a timeout. There is nothing more frustrating that taking a timeout and looking like shite when play resumes.

There is no such thing as Miles men. Even Beefense has said it may be time for a change.
There are posters like you that want Miles fired no matter what. You would be fine with lsu having a losing season if it meant we fire Miles. You're not a lsu fan you're a "Bitch about Miles'er".no amount of facts will ever make you like Miles.
