Think of a football game as a prize fight. If you have the upper hand, you should continue to pummel your opponent until he waves the white flag. GT was still trying to score, thus they weren't about to throw in the towel. So, you continue to land punches until the fight is over. Some of their fans are real pussies! I wonder if they ran home to mommy whenever they got their nose bloodied.

I hope you guys have a great season next year. From a 9-4 team widely expected to go 3-9, with 16 of 22 starters returning next year, good recruiting and an up and coming program CPJ has laid a good foundation and look forward to next year.

That's what you all need to remember; you had a phenominal season, and beat Georgia to boot!! What you now need is a quarterback that knows the spread option AND can throw, since that game tape is going to all of the schools to show how to stop the triple option. I hear that coach Johnson is bringing 2-3 strong triple option qb's in your 09 recruiting class.

We had alot of things going for us going into this game:

1) We were pissed off due to the way the season ended with loss to ArKANSAS
2) Defensive morale was at a an all time low due to the total confusion of running with 2 DC's, and the seniors finally stepped up to motivate the team to end on a high note
3) The team learned that #2 was being fixed with a good new DC so the underclassmen stepped up as well.
4) If anyone hasn't figured it out yet, when given a month to prepare.....we tend to do pretty damn good in bowl games
