If Jefferson turns it on this year then 1) I see this team in at minimum the SEC championship with the Bama game being the difference; 2) Gary Crowton is likely to blame for Jefferson and Lee's lack of progress considering their physical skill sets.

I talked to a former D1 qb who works the manning camp every year and asked his thoughts on JJ. He said he was highly impressed with the physical aspect of things especially his arm strength. He said JJ could throw it almost 80 yards and also noticed that it seemed like he was getting his feet set better. He also said JJ seemed to have a bit of an attitude problem. He wouldn't listen to Peyton or Eli and just did his own thing and was pretty cocky. Anybody else hear this?

quote:no but former D1 QBs at the manning camp say great things about JJ every year so that part can be ignored. there are links to prove it and I'm sure everyone is getting those for us right now.
Anybody else hear this?
the negative part about JJ? that is 100% fact I'm sure. why? because it's something negative about JJ.

quote:LIES!!!!!
Jefferson is so cocky that Eli said "Jordan is a great kid and a great talent," Manning said. "I think he could have a great season and could lead LSU to a big season. I've always liked Jordan, and I am always rooting for him."

realistic to think they didnt talk positively about everyone there, considering the mic in their face?
I mean it is Eli's camp
not saying its true or false, but this is an example of why some dont put stock into every compliment about JJ.

One time in HS i played a pickup flag football game.
I threw three tds and didnt miss on a pass.
People there said they were "very" impressed with me.
Unfortunatley when two a days started and i had to put shoulder pads on and there were actually 21 other dudes out on the field, some helping some others trying to kill me... I quickly decided that this was much harder than I originally thought.

my buddy waited on him one time at a restaurant, and he told me JJ refused to even talk to him or look him in the eyes. said his GF ordered everything

So, you so upset with JJ getting some props that you have a want to compare your experience with that of an LSU player being talked bout my NFL scouts, players, and a Super Bowl winning coach?
Why it's so upseting to some to have good things being said bout an LSU guy is a mystery to me, but each to our own.

no, already alluded to the fact in certain cases the praise is for the camera or target audience.
