Remember your advice...don't feed the trolls.

The guy has wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much venom flowing in him toward the most successful LSU coach in history to be an LSU fan. imo

It's pretty amusing when all you got left in your anti-Miles agenda is, "Nick is better".

Venom? Just stating the obvious. The venom comes from you and others like you.

So what Saban is the better coach. It doesn't mean he beats LSU every year.

It doesn't mean Miles will never win another title.

It doesn't mean he will never be the best coach in the country eventually.

But today...well, we know who is better.

Mingo and Sam as top 5 picks I will have to see that to believe it. That's hyperbole IMO. So much has to happen for that to take place. Teams at the top of the draft have to need that position and value both players as franchise players. How many top 5 picks at defensive line has LSU had in its history?

4>3 fact
Saban>Miles your opinion
You can continue to state it as fact, if you want to prove your ignorance.

Saban 3 rebuilt teams to Miles 1.

Saban had two teams win NC's, Miles 1.

Saban total 3 NC's to Miles 1.

Pretty clear who has accomplished more based on facts.

You realize that you have the option to change what team you're a fan of on your profile, right?

I don't think anyone here who is honest would rank Miles over Saban at this point. Reasonable fans can admit that...it's the Miles-hate most have a problem with. There is simply no way you cannot give Miles ultimate credit for the position the team is in today. If Miles had really turned out to be Larry Coker, like you and so many others probably predicted after '07, the team would be no where near where they are today.

Another god who knows what I think or feel and you would be wrong too. I was pissed at a coach who quit in the biggest game of the year.

Sooo...I got a question. You seem to get pretty upset at posters who assume they "know" your thoughts....for being a "god who knows what I think or feel". Is that right? And yet you "know" Miles thoughts and feelings and competitive spirit and you "know" he quit in the BCSNG?

Negative simpletons like you will always contradict themselves if they talk long enough.

Les Miles has risen to the top of his profession, in great part because of his competitiveness. A man like him has been in great battles his entire career and has to prove himself every day. A man like that, with that type of experience and resume, will NEVER quit! It's not in his DNA. He is a positive and optimistic person and these types of people have no trouble competing until the very end.

In his profession, especially at a place like LSU, a place that represents the very top of his chosen profession...he hears almost daily from nutjobs like you about all the things you think he is doing wrong. Some nobody on some insignificant internet forum thinks HE KNOWS all about how to be a top shelf FB coach and HE can tell a coach quit because of a play call he didn't agree with. He believes he can tell a coach quit because of some personel decision that differs from his non-informed point of view of how the team should be run.

You are the WORST kind of dumbass...an ARROGANT dumbass. Negative pessimistic people like you quit all the time. That is probably why it seems so clear to you that Miles quit. You have probably quit at many things and at many times in your life. With your negative attitude you probably think that everyone quits when the going gets tough.

Its not like that for people like Miles, and not like that for those of us that enjoy competing and have positive outlooks on life and sports. We fight to the end and then shake the other guys hand after the game and try to "get em next time". You should try that sometime you crybaby quitter!

The fact is he did. The play chart will tell you so. He fricking quit.

Sorry can't do that. I don't fancy myself the god that you do. You will have to tell me what you have quit at in your life.

I'm just playing the odds here and relying on the observations I have made in my life about human nature. People who take the negative side of things, people who are pessimistic, tend to quit. They have a "whats the point, its all going to turn to shite anyway" view of life and competions.

For the sake of argument lets say you're right and Saban is better than Miles. Do you think that Miles thinks Saban is better than him? Do you think that if Miles DID feel that Saban was better, do you think it would make him quit competing? If you do you really don't understand the makeup of Les Miles or ANY CFB coach that has done what it takes to play D1 college football and then had done what it takes to coach at a premier D1 school. Those kind of people don't EVER quit.

I know it will be hard for you to do, but please don't stop trying. This is a difficult concept for you to grasp, but if you don't quit, keep a POSITIVE attitude, and keep plugging away, you just might get it one day. Good luck!

He did on 1/9/12. Deal with it. I have.

It doesn't mean he quit for good, just quit that day. He is trying again like he should. But considering his pay grade, he NEVER should have quit once.

Uhhhhh, good advice for Miles.

Coach Miles, please read the above post. It might help you to NEVER give up in a game.

Deal with what? I've already explained to you why your opinion of what you saw is flawed. I think I will have to coin a new term to accurately describe you....you sir are a "nega-moron".

Look dude its just this simple. I AM SMARTER THAN YOU! And not just me, but lots and lots of other people are smarter than you too. What you think you saw is not how us smarter people interpreted it. Unfortunately for us, our ancestors have fought for your right to express your retarded opinion. Repeating your opinion of what you saw over and over doesn't make it any more real.

I've done all I can to explain to you how your negativity has kept you from accurately interpreting what you saw on 1/9. All I can do now is wait for your intelligence level to rise. Don't you fret about me now sonny, I packed a lunch, you take all the time you need.

I can get behind this....I honestly do not feel it is being a nega-tiger to at least feel this way. Maybe we all should not try to keep bringing it up, but to deny the fact is ridiculous.

By the way, my last post was for all you tards out there who so loosely use the word "FACT" to emphasize some subjective point. My post is an example of what constitutes an "actual" fact! See the difference? If you can't, you just might be a tard.

Wow, I got a lot of heat for saying "I'm a little scared of Bama & Arkansas this year". I didn't realize I was going get a dozen "I'm a stupid pussy" comments.

Well, I'm extremely confident in our season, I really am. I will give you the "Reader's Digest" version of why we will more than likely lose to Bama & Arkansas this year, and trust me, I want to win. Here is the reason.

The Bama game: Zach has thrown 11 passes in his college career. He will have 8 games under his belt prior to Bama, and only 2 of those teams will have close to the talent that Bama will have, which means he will not be accustomed to such a strong D. And Saban will expose this.

The Arkansas game: It in Fayetteville. That's huge. LSU always has a little difficulty with the 'quick pass' and a QB that can move. QB Tyler Wilson is the real deal and will give us fits. RB Knile Davis also will be back. If you remember, he was a beast.

We will finish 10-2.

we crushed em last yr with no Eric Reid. we should have all defensive kinks (mainly inexperience in some of the backups) ironed out by then. and there's no Petrino to call plays. and one other thing...

this guy's a frick up that'll likely have the flagship sinking by then.

we roll.

Respectfully disagree. Their defense is depleted of the little talent they had ( Tremain Thomas, Jake Bequette, Jericho Nelson and two other dlinemen). We put up 41 points on them with JJ at QB. Will the hogs move the ball; yes. Will they outscore us; no. The fourth quarter will look much like it when we last played them. It doesn't matter where we play that defense.
