Max needs to start taking the free yds on early down scrambles

He rolls left or right away from pressure on 1st and 2nd down and instead of taking the easy 5 or 6 yards he keeps sliding sideways behind the line looking for a big hitter. Sometimes it's complete but many times we're left with 2nd or 3rd and 10 instead of 2nd or 3rd and 4.
Seems like an easy coaching fix....but good coaching appears to be an overarching problem.

What pisses me off is he scrambles and slides too early or runs out of bounds 5 yds before contact! Burrow would go after the first down or the extra 3 yds. Even Old arse Tom Brady was taking contact going after first downs last night

Only left handed QB in the history of football that transfers the ball to his right hand while running left. It slows him down, he's exposing the rock to incoming defenders, and he bails out to the sideline too fast when there's still another two yards he could tip toe if he kept the ball in his left. Coming from an NFL dad and being a P5 starting QB, I have never seen this amateur shite before.

Yeah him taking unnecessary contact would be smart. Especially since we have so much depth at QB.
