Of course I wouldn't trade CP. But if we don't get him help this offseason, he can demand a trade. I hope that piece of shite James Posey doesn't come back.

I'm not real knowledgeable about basketball but did go to the spur hornets game monday past and while thorton does well on offense he seems to lack defensive end of the court. Just my 2 cents.

As i said I'm not real knowledgeable about B ball but it seemed as though every time the spurs had 3 or more players bunched up in the paint one would be left completely uncovered.....with a hornets player killing himself to get back in the play. I lean to that being the product of poor coaching but i dont know enough to be sure.

Same difference! Any player that comes off the bench and plays 30 min or more (MT5 and Manu) are gonna be the leaders on the bench.

Jeff Bower is not only a shitty coach, but a pretty shitty GM as well. You can't blame him for being a bad coach though. The job pretty much fell into his lap.

IDK about this. i think someone coming off the bench should hussle and play some quality defense. marcus doesn't play defense, he just scores. I just can't compare him to manu and i still think he should start and maybe we wouldn't dig ourselves into a 10 point fricking hole in the first quarter every game.

Marcus Thornton is a rookie. Give him a break. Manu looks like he's frickin 40 years old. MT5 will be an elite player in this league one day. Bank it.

i think you are right. CP and MT will be a great combo in my opinion. We can trade DC if we can't keep him and get some help in the post maybe. i think the future is bright.
