It'll be just as hard to see Tasmin go too.

In my opinion, Thorton has been the third greatest player to play at LSU in my lifetime.
1.Shaq
2.Chris Jackson
3.Marcus Thorton

I've never watched a player take some ridiculously far shots and sink them. Knowing how dangerous he was from anywhere made it a pleasure for myself and my fellow tiger fans to watch. I wish he had come here his freshman year. Good luck in the NBA MT.

Well your opinion is wrong. Stromile Swift comes to mind, along with Brandon Bass, or even Tyrus Thomas. How about Ronnie Henderson? Marcus Thorton is an absolute scoring machine, but he's not on the level with any of those players.

You act as if it's not close. Thornton is a man. None of those three could take over a game on the offensive end like Marcus could, except for maybe Bass.

Marcus Thornton and Chris Jackson are the two most exciting players I've watched at LSU.

Watching Marcus sprint at full speed down the baseline, catch and hit turnaround jumper 3's was a thing of beauty.

Thanks for the entertainment and your effort this year, it was awesome.
