how do you know this?

Because we have solid runningbacks in KW and CS, a fan-freaking-tastic WR corp, and a terrific TE, yet the offense is ranked 112th.

Sure the Oline is really horrible, but they're not so bad that the offense should be 112th.

THe playcalling certainly doesn't help JJ, but other team's don't respect him-and they shouldn't. JJ's performance this year showed me he's closer to CUSA material than SEC material.

And just as a comparison, here are Lee's stats through 6 games as a redshirt freshman where he saw significant playing time (Beginning @Auburn, MSU, @ UF, @ So. Car., UGA & Tulane) Lee played in much harsher climates @Auburn, Florida & USC.

C-90 A-161 Yards-1227 Comp%-55.9 YPC-13.6 Long-66 Tds-10 INT-9 Sacks-5 Rating-128.41

Now where does he rank? If you take JJ's sacks and add them to his Attempts he would have 163 Attempts and his Comp% would be near what Lee's was at 55.8.

I guess the YPC doesn't include his sacks?

you would be correct seeing as it means

Go figure that we have a QB who can't read defenses and can't throw, so he can run, right?

He runs the option SCARED just like he didn't want the ball at UGA. Your QB can't be scared.

Well what if he threw an INT? It can go both ways.

I'd rather him throw an INT on 4th down instead of taking a sack.

JJ: coach, i think the run would work on this play. lets give it to chuck.

It was probably more like:

Crowton: Let's run 5 wide, Tolliver over the middle. Throw it where only he can catch it!

JJ: Sorry coach, but I rather give it to Scott on the 33. Where if we get a miracle he will actually get 2-3 yards and now we're in field goal range. It will be a 45 yard field goal, but nothing Jasper can't hit.

Oh I'm going to play the if game. He's taken 18 sacks and all everyone wants to do is point to his incredible comp %. You don't want to hear it because it discredits your argument.

Also, his completion percentage is high due to the minimum number of attempts of over 10-12 yards down field.

Though it would be interesting to add the run support into the equation

Team G Rush RushYds Avg Rush/G Y/G

LSU 6 213 743 3.5 35.5 123.8

Miami (FL) 6 219 758 3.5 36.5 126.3

USC 6 222 1161 5.2 37.0 193.5

Michigan 7 304 1645 5.4 43.4 235.0

Oklahoma 6 234 923 3.9 39.0 153.8

Missouri 6 210 731 3.5 35.0 121.8

Are sacks a component of the passer rating formula? I'm just curious.

And we would have more rushing yards if JJ wouldn't have 18 sacks for a negative 118 yards. That's calculated as 18 attempts for negative 118 yards.

So now your at 195 attempts for 861 yards and 4.41 yards per carry. That's if he just throws the ball away on every sack. I know that's impossible, but just fun to look at.

Just sayin...

Just passing stats are...not rushing stats.

By other teams do you mean the 11 teams in the NCAA that allow more sacks per game than us?
