For starters the striping used to be sewed onto the pants. Now it’s an actual section of the pants and not added on after the pants are made

Love the Hodson era look. Our gold was golder. Our purple was purpler. And there was just a better overall elegant simplicity to everything.
yep, and the shade of purple on the pants and jerseys actually matched the helmet purple.

It's now WAAYY off.

I don't get it.

they just started looking differently

Entirely different font on both uniforms and on the yard markers on the field. They need to ditch both and do back to the “original” ones from 5-6 yrs ago.

Those unis you don't like were picked best nationally. Stay on the aggie board.

The pant stripe change has bothered me too ever since it was made. No reason it should not be exactly the same as the helmet and jersey. Equipment manager fail IMO. Not positive, but believe it may have happened at same time as switch to Nike.

They change the angle on the numbers to 58° to honor of the 1958 national championship team when they did that it made them taller and slimmer if I remember correctly. Yes they obviously could widen the numbers and I do not know why they don’t. When they used to have the numbers like from 2003 and 2007 that was perfect.
