I corrected it. See above. I typed too quickly the first time.

Again, are you serious? They have not tried what I suggested as you claim they have.

When I saw this thread was 34 pages long, I automatically knew it was ballscater in the thick of a huge debate.

Hands down the most argumentative poster on this entire site.

Whether it is a matter of Free Speech or not, and we do have different opinions on this, STTDB should not be chanted in unison by thousands upon thousands of people in a family environment.
We know you think this. Nobody cares. It's none of your business what other people say. Get over it.

Students can be loud, intimidating and obnoxious to opposing teams WITHOUT being vulgar.
And concerned hero warrior stay-at-home moms can hear bad words WITHOUT thinking about people fricking animals (but not you for some reason).

You're in no place to judge others. You're a dishonest person who is trying to manufacture a literal connection between a student chant and an actual act of bestiality and justifying this perversion and your bossiness by hiding behind a shield made of your children.

Yes, I am. They removed the song. Even though it wasn't gone for 4 years, the chant never stopped for any period even without the song. What makes you think that an extra couple of years would have made a difference? That is the basis of why I say that 4 years wouldn't be nearly long enough.

Why would it? Everyone still has it fresh in their mind.

Because it would mean a new cycle of students that would never know STTDB existed.

Well that makes you ignorant.

Do you think the students are earnestly encouraging bestiality, or do you think they're just being ridiculous and silly with no actual interest in bestiality?

of course not.... theyre being silly...but in a way that is offensive to others..why cant u see that? I know its "Not my business" but does that make it any less offensive?

Obviously you don't know me.

I have no children. I'm not a stay-at-home mom.

You shouldn't ASSuME.

People take their kids to football games. ALL people need to be held accountable for what is said and done in a public place.

I'm not trying to manufacture any connection to what the chant is professing. It's already there.

Last but not least, I'm not the only one in this thread who has stated that the chant is about fellatio on a tiger.

Are you serious, Clark? If the chant takes 2-3 years to stop, how do you realistically think that nobody would remember it in another 1-2 years? To think that nobody would remember after such a short period of time and start it up again is truly ignorant.

your cycle theory is rubbish. what? these same kids have never been in TS prior to becoming students?? They're going to forget/discount something they heard many times growing up in TS? Not a chance.

If they don't play it for 4 years, just about everyone currently in the student section will have moved on. They won't be there. Everyone in there 4 years from now ill have never once participated in or heard the chant. How do you not get that?

The fact of the matter is that it isn't an intrusion of free speech, no one is saying its "ILLEGAL" or "CRIMINAL" to chant these things, just that they don't want it in the stadium.

I'm not necessarily saying the students are in the wrong, but Students, here in lies your problem....

You're getting highly discounted tickets by the university when the rest of the crowd has to pay full price for these seats.

You are indebtted to the university for their act of discount towards you, their only stipulation is abide by their rules.

If you were paying full price for those tickets, I'd think you'd have more of a gripe, however, you dont.......

Wrong. I'm very much in a place to judge those who want to police language but have dirty dishonest minds themselves. I will be judging those people.
