LSU women’s golf team advances from NCAA Waco regional

The LSU women’s golf team is moving on.
The Tigers played a solid final round Wednesday in the NCAA Waco Regional at Ridgewood Country Club to advance to the NCAA Championships, extending LSU’s school-record streak to a sixth straight year.
LSU finished fourth with a total of 1-over par 841, one of the five teams advancing from the Waco regional. The Tigers posted a final round of 2-over par 282 to remain in a qualifying position throughout the round.
Also advancing were SMU, Texas A&M, Baylor and Tennessee. The Volunteers won a playoff against Tulsa for the final qualifying spot.
