I am stunned that the pass defense of the 2 are about identical.

LSU is lucky S Car didnot beat them they should be glad where they are now. Bama played their wost game this year and still won, the tigers might end up @ independance bowl if they loose to Ole MIss and an improved Ark team

LSU dominated your ragity arse team in every aspect of the game except QB play. We win by 2 touchdowns with moderate QB play. Florida will bend yall over and that arse till ole nicky feels like he is in Southwest commercial: Wanna get away? Have fun in the sugar bowl, it'll be a while till you get back there. By the way LSU will play Texas in the cotton bowl and were gonna shock the world. book it.

Do you feel better now? Did mommy kiss it? You seem upset... why? Because LSU LOST?!?!?! i.e. DIDN'T WIN???? I think it's hysterical that your pea-brained, can't-spell, dumb arse ranted like that, then wished Florida would beat us after they DESTROYED your team. What a douchebag. Have you ever kissed a girl?

So you're saying that if our team was better we would have won the game? Insightful.

Not really. It was a well-played game and the better team won.

Tulane was Bama's worst game of the year

I could see losing to Ole Miss if we turn it over and they make some plays but not Ark. And you are in no place to make fun of going to the Indy Bowl.

Pretty much, but it is telling that LSU dominated Bama in every aspect of the game and Bama needed help from Lee to win. LSU was not outhit, outcoached, or outhustled. Think of it this way, LSU and Bama switch QBs for the game, LSU wins by 2 TDs.

But the "IF's" go both ways. If Alabama doesn't fumble out the enzone and deep in their own territory, they win by 10+ points. And I would not say that LSU dominated Alabama in every aspect. The running game stopped working (yes, in part due to quarterback play). And Alabama made the plays offensively to make it 21-14 and to score in overtime.

You're right and it's really just splitting hairs here, but with only very mediocre QB play- picture Marcus Randall quality- LSU would definitely have been able to loosen up Bama's defense just enough to keep the running game working. Bama fumbled and made mistakes, but LSU's costly mistakes all came from the same player which makes it more maddening.

This is true. And I saw your posts in the other thread about our QB's in 02 and 04. So I see the point you're trying to make about how QB play really does matter.

A very obvious point I would have thought, except it seems to missed by many on here. the sky is not falling, all that is missing is the QB, which is not news. LSU is a more complete team than the record indicates.

Looking at the lsu/bama game last year and this year I did not see much difference in the bama team form last year to this. I think we outplayed them in both games and lost one . If we had a passer and they could not have stacked the DL in the second half we would have run 300 yards on them and beat them in both. there defense is not that great.
