*queue soft but triumphant music*
When summer is finally forgotten, as daylight dwindles sooner each day, look beyond the corner, just beyond main street. Chances are there is a game in a backyard. Children in the midst of imagining, some with a notion, innocent but powerful. You eagerly followed your team, listening to that distant voice. You couldn't sleep after a victory....couldnt wait til the day when it might be your time. And then that day arrived.... that moment.... that affirmation... when you were told you were special. So you worked and you sacrificed pointing toward that day in the fall when all of america would be watching you. Watching your team.... the kind of a day dreamed of in a backyard just around a corner from main street.
*queue drum beat*
Here are the questions confronting Number #4 Auburn: are these to be the Tigers that finally bring peace to the Auburn faithful after the sorrowful end to 2004? Is Cam to be auburn's next heisman winner...will gene chizik call himself a national champion?....
but between these hopes and their fulfillment there is the myth, the legend....the man known as the Riverboat Gambler.... and Louisiana's team....the Bayou Bengals from Baton Rouge....two last second victories....an undefeated record....no team has had lived on the edge so perilously... a team perhaps guided by destiny or maybe by legends of the fall....
so here we are....perfect seasons at stake...a perfect game in a perfect place...a collision for history...a school hoping to finally ascend to college football's summit...a school hoping to add to its already abundant legend......number 4 auburn vs number 6 lsu...the coming of a day dreamed of in backyards just around the corner from main street.

I'll be watching from easy chair since the Gators are playing off week earlier in the day. It will be fun watching SEC's best defense against SECs best offense running the ball. Somethings gotta give.
The problem is homefield for you guys...but if you can get your offense to control the clock and run it...keeping Newton on the bench...then you have chance...the team with the most rushing yds will win.
Someone going to the game should hold up sign that says " Cam Newton Stole My Laptop "
