If it was the first time it happened I would understand, but go back and look at how many times "the best fans in America" couldn't make it through 60 minutes of football

I like the arguing out of both sides of their mouths going on by those defending the thinning numbers in the seats.
Argument 1: Nobody was there because it was a holiday.
Argument 2: The stadium/student section was still packed at the beginning of the game.
How has nobody pointed out the contradiction in those arguments?
