Ten teams, including No. 1 Florida, No. 2 Alabama and No. 3 Texas, are in position to earn an automatic BCS bid as a conference champion or an at-large pick.

so LSU is going to get in over the current #2 team in the country?

you realize only 2 SEC teams can go right?

please, ranturds and boo-gers, get on the mark and start your crap about lsu. why the bcs would think that lsu could make an at large invitee when they are soooo hated by the intelligencia?

maybe, b/c lsu carries lots of fans with it.
and, please, if lsu is invited to an at-large bid, please continue your anti-miles diatribe.
first, boo, the 19 yr old kids, and then the coaches of integrity and then boo the fans who are loyal to the TEAM.

skrew you

Bravo!

dear ranturds, check out what the bcs says.

Dude, a 3 loss LSU will not be picked over a 1 (or 2) loss Alabama. Like I've mentioned a bunch of times, maybe if Bama couldn't sell tickets/hotels, and brought in really low TV ratings, but that obviously won't be the case.

explain to me why anyone would take LSU with 3 losses over a 2 loss bama team that made the SECCG?

The only argument that even slightly has a chance would be that Bama went to the Sugar just last year. However, this could easily be countered by the fact that LSU was there in 06 and 07, so it's not like they haven't gone recently.

And the fact that Bama brings in around as much (if not more) $$ than LSU. And that they're better than LSU.

So, yeah, no BCS bowl for LSU.

yeah, that's just what we need. A BCS Bowl. Can you imagine how bad we'd get blown out? Anybody in the top 25 would beat LSU and that's the last thing we need right now. We should just skip the damn bowl game this year and work on the fundamentals of football in our practice time.
