Yeah, very experienced team. I was hoping that there might've been 1 or 2 talented freshmen who wanted to start their college careers close to home who might transfer to LSU. But, maybe not.

All JUCO transfers with three D1 transfers. The best baseball NAIA schools come off as sort of Last Chance U schools for kids looking to keep playing to get noticed. And by noticed I mean Independent Leagues or possibly singing a minor league contract with an MLB org. LSUS has become one of those schools. They don't recruit high school kids.

Has any team in that league gone wire to wire with no losses?

Kinda light on underclassmen. Guess it’s not hard to recruit kids when you go 54-0 though.

Loyola New Orleans also made the NAIA World Series. They play at 5:00.

If I remember correctly, Todd Walker and Airline High in Bossier City were undefeated heading into the LA state title game. They lost in the bottom of the ninth when the Airline catcher overthrew 3rd base, trying pick a runner off, which let the winning run in. That had to absolutely suck.

Just said the same to my wife. Going undefeated in baseball is insanity. It’s probably the hardest sport to pull it off in.

Currently in my last term of their MBA program. I feel like such a winner because of this.

I doubt a lot of people know this, but LSU-S is a good school.

It would be a shitty time for "baseball" to finally happen to them

Yeah, it would be terrible.

I think I found the game on YouTube. Here it (hopefully) is. Apparently hasn't started yet.
