People feel strong about it because you’re basing Brennan’s performance on garbage time snaps with a pound the ball mentality. No, he hasn’t looked great in the time that he’s had but there’s still no way to tell his potential without him running the full system with the first team.
Ummmmm, thanks for the response, but this doesn't tell us anything? You're saying there's no way to tell his potential, but my question was why some think he is the answer and feel strongly that he will be the man.

I think Brennan will be a good SEC quarterback. We can't replace Burrow's ability to thrive under pressure , Burrow's toughness, or Burrow's leadership. We can't replace Burrow's intangibles. Burrow is the best LSU QB of my lifetime and I don't know when, if ever, we'll have another Burrow. We'll see what happens next year. Brennan is a good QB but to think he's the next Joe Burrow is putting too much on the guy.

Physical attributes are there for Brennan

Remember Flynn's Jr year? He wasn't impressive in mop up duty behind JR. Next season-Championship with a makeshift OL and a couple of DT injuries for part of the season.
