We really just did this. In two games in the CFP this year, we had 1,320 yards of total offense. That's a real thing. Our opponents had 716 total yards. Per game, that is 660 to 358.

In two playoff games we were 5 yards shy of 1,000 yards passing. And of course we scored 105 points in two games, versus total opponents' points of 53.

FYI - For good measure, we even outrushed each opponent. Keep in mind, that is without Clyde pretty much in the Oklahoma game, and that was against Travis Etienne and Trevor Lawrence in the title game.

Oh, and we kneeled on the ball deep in opposing territory to end both games.

Just a reminder of how dominant this team was in the playoff. By far the most dominant performance by a team in the CFP since it started. And we beat BOTH teams this year that had dominated the CFP to date (AT Alabama and Clemson).

He’s talking about Bama you tard. We beat them in the regular season, and they’ve dominated the CFP since it’s inception

The kneeling deep in their territory is still my favorite thing. It will be forgotten by the masses in the future.

However, being fortunate enough to be there and watch the sideline put up the V for victory formation and being able to know the game is in hand with time still on the clock is such a dominant frick you to your opposition.

This past season still hasn't kicked in all the way yet for me, just keep savoring this motherfricker.

Yes, I meant Bama and Clemson but I probably could have been a bit clearer since most of the post was talking about the two playoff games.

It's hard to fathom that we had over 1,300 yards of offense in two playoff games. Clemson was widely considered the best defense in college football this year, and Oklahoma's D was vastly improved over last year's abysmal performance. I believe they were a top 25 defense BEFORE our game.

There can never be a conversation about the most dominant season in college football history without the 2019 LSU Fighting Tigers garnering serious consideration.

Well, we scored 15 TDs in the playoffs and 15 more against Bama, UF and UGA. For perspective.
