Agreed deuce. Unfortunately I think our defense will really struggle.

I think our defense struggles in the first half. We go down somewhere to the tune of 21-17, and we control the 2nd half and continue to pound the rock and take the game over.
I really believe that we'll see a few big defensive plays that will let JJ work in relative comfort.

They have a good running game too.
Yes with a experienced O-line.

at what point in fall camp do you expect the team to start game planning for Oregon's offense? the biggest key to stopping our offense isn't necessarily in having a singular force disrupt everything at the los but rather in the front 7 playing disciplined ball, and that means practice reps against it. while there will be adequate time to prep, fall camp isn't about game planning for your first opponent and I've heard a lot of talk about "oregon hasn't seen our offense." Frankly, I don't think anybody in the Cas is worried about the LSU offense and we can make the same argument since we've been implementing our "blur wishbone" too.

They lost so many starters on defense. Especially their strongest linebacker. We need to be ready to run though because if they get it going on offense we need to be able to keep up.

Here's an important thing to take notice of if you're an Oregon fan. LSU's defense WAY better than Auburn's defense. Oregons offense loses what your whole entire o line? both starting wide outs? Think Ryan Perrilloux at LSU, now think Ryan Perrilloux at Jackson State. Now think Thomas and running backs in oregons offense last year, now think the same in oregons offense this year. Now add LSU's defense. Now think FAIL.
