We have a distinct advantage in the coaching area. That will help us...

If we can just get all our players to play with focus and energy together for one game that would make me happy.

Looks like it will be a sold out crowd and hopefully our kids will feed off of that.

Larry Brown is one of the best coaches around and CJJ still has a learning curve at this level, but an inspired LSU team still has a chance.

If we bring out our press every now & then, that might do it.

Also if he allows Hickey (and Coleman/Stringer) to push the ball on fast breaks. I used to love to watch the Hickey/Stringer tandem from Trent's days and to some extent CJJ last year.
Let them create, by kicking ball to any forwards up there. The lob pass, the alley oop. It's fun to watch and doesn't make us go to the 3 all the time.

I'm constantly saying we should take advantage of our personnel, rather than forcing an offense that doesn't suit small but speedy guards, or even our inexperienced bigger guys sometimes, in the set offense designed for JOB.
JOB must be getting fed up of constantly being doubled and tripled and forcing his way by muscle to score. This is very tiring for him, in the minutes he's expected to play all game.

I hope 5 days rest helps him.

The committee "penalized" them for being in a weak conference and playing a poor OOC schedule. However, they deserved to be in the NCAAT.

AAC was very weird this year. 5 teams in the Top 25 for a good part of the season, 5 sub-150/200 RPI teams. Nothing in between. I can understand why the committee gave AAC teams poor seeds and snubbed SMU, but they've backed up their regular season rankings with a 5-1 tournament record so far (6-1 counting SMU).
