LSU Gymnastics score would have won 23 of laast 30 titles

What an incredible night fo the LSU gymnasts capping off the careers of a fabulous senior class who had to settle for runnersup for the third time in four years. In another era they might be sporting three championship rings as their score would have won about 80% of the last 30 championships. Unfortunately they have fallen short to a program which became elite just a few years earlier than they did and has managed to sustain the slight edge needed to win the title.

They cannot control what the other team does or how the judges score their routines. The stars will align soon and LSU will win its first championship. While they won't be a part of that team the four seniors have built the foundation to get the program to its now elite level.
