It appears that the last 2 games vs UUL were relatively tight but had defensive miscues and lack of bundling hits. Low production scores with softball have become more the norm due to premier pitching.
We are all disappointed they lost but number 11 in the nation is not that shabby.

Arizona already lost their regional but I don't expect the Cajuns to beat Michigan in the supers Actually I didn't expect them to beat Lsu. This is not a really good Cajun softball team. Really surprised they held Lsu scoreless.

We never played well after the bama series! That's what I meant! Fico although she pitched well today has been unimpressive for the most part! We have state of the art facilities and I think Torina is a good coach but we all know something is missing from this team that ull, bama, Florida, Tennessee ect have! We let our hated rival u of Louisiana beat us at home! Let that set in! 2games and 0 runs

Hated rival? I don't consider ULL a rival in anything. Sports or education. it sucks that we lost today, but to compare success in any avenue of life, sports, or education between LSU and ULL is just crazy. And to brag about a women's softball win makes for a damn pathetic life.

Agree that play feel off after bama. But that was sweet! Fico still had a great seson and deserves credit for us being #11 in the nation, IMO, but might have lost some concentration or whatever toward the end which is what perked her up at the beginning of the season, according to Torina.
We are getting better and believe Torina will move us into a steady NC contender.

Obviously you care something about softball since you are posting in this thread.
Anyway. I thought it was a very good tournament. Both team played well, I wouldn't say spanked at all. It sucks that two good Louisiana teams had to meet in the regional, but I guess that's how the cookie crumbles.
