That is assuming that they will win 10+ games this season. They have the talent to win 10 games, but can the coaches get them there?

It's because he wastes talent.it's the equivalent of going out and buying a beautiful aged ribeye only to marinate it in cough syrup and then boiling it.

stwepu - This is classic. Thanks for that.

You are right. He is winning. Are you satisfied with 8-5? If so, then cheers!

The record is 1-0. I'm happy with that.

Some of you guys really don't get it. I guess Louisiana can't handle the little bit of success that you guys have had in anyting. The guy wins. Leave it at that and enjoy. Man it must be hard being some of you.

So I guess you wanted to keep Zook?

Not only talent, but he squanders opportunity. It's also the equivalent of winning the lottery and taking that money to buy $55 million dollars worth of bubble gum.

That is YOUR quote. Your quote infers that the team (since we are talking about THIS team and THIS year) will win 10+ games and the fans will be unappreciative. My point was that the talent we have can get us there. My question was whether you have faith in the current coaching staff to get us to that 10 win level.

You guys got a bad call on the onside. Then the fumble was on the player not the coach. No big fan of Zook but Miles is better than he was. Again, did you guys flip when Saban didn't win pretty? Just stop reaching. UNC was a good team. Better than you guys given the credit for. I think you are 5-0 before we meet. And I'd give you odds vs. us. Or, keep being a bunch of spoiled brats and wonder why you start loosing recruits.

I am not sure why the "posiTigers" are whining?

Posters here are focused on the complaint that our offense has been absolutely ROTTEN and there are no signs of improvements.

Is it so much to ask that we get the best out of our team? Is it a problem to demand excellence from a multi-million dollar program - in which many of us invest?

I will say this again, STAY FOCUSED ON THE COMPLAINT. The objective is to compete for National Championships, not cheer on mediocracy and in some cases, down right rotten play concerning the offense.

Your QB looked better than last year. Saw two bad plays but beyond that made some good reads. Loosing the lineman is going to hurt. Your OL is a little weak. I see the point you are trying to make but this is the type of stuff every program deals with. D looked great in 1st half. I am just saying NC was ranked. Players out or not, you guys beat a solid team.

Maybe Florida shouldn't have fired Zook. Maybe you can bring him back when Urban leaves.

No, because even when he made mistakes people had faith that he knew what they were and was working to fix them.

We may be, but it won't be pretty and we will still get smoked by UF.

Recruiting isnt' the issue.
