QB= we beat the best Bama team of all time with Jordan Jefferson.... in Tuscaloosa... if that can happen anything can happen.

That is completely irrelevant.

I don't think anyone wants a repeat of 2012.

Even more amazing is we had them beat last year with AJ at the helm. His 76 yds of passing were just enough to seal the win... until the meltdown occurred.

My statement stands.

Obviously, but that has nothing to do with my point. All these young studs we have at receiver right now could easily develop into something special just like those two did.

They likely will. Doesn't change that they were a liability at times in 2014 and that the position is on shaky ground in 2015.

Because this...

quote:

Odell Beckham Jr. 43 713 16.6 56 2
Jarvis Landry 56 573 10.2 33 5

kind of production would suck with Dural around 1,000 yards and 8 TD's.

It really isn't. All depends on the QB play. Good QB play and they will be tops in the conference.

Sure, but OBJ and Jarvis were the #1 and #2 receivers that year. Dupre and Quinn won't be getting that many targets.

And I'm not trying to shite on the WRs. But compared to RBs, OL, or any defensive position group, they're not on the same footing despit being a fine, though inconsistent, group.

I do expect we will start at around 16 not sure
where this #3 is coming from ????

who knows I sure don't know much

preseason ranking is 16.

3 is a measure of past performance plus recruiting class, plus coaching staff. the 3 does not take into account the 4 other SEC west teams in the top 11.

History can repeat itself. Not saying JJ winning is going to play a factor but if JJ could beat that team, shaky QB play has beaten a better team in the past and could(and most likely will at some point again) repeat and happen again in the future.

Let's hope not. I'm sick and tired of not winning at least 10-11...

Who's going to coach the WR's up is another question that could determine their success.
