LSU Defensive Stats-Question

Just looking at the stats so far in the SEC. As we all know on this board that our seconday play is not where we need it to be. We have the 2nd best rush defense (Gumps got us by 6 yards)and we are at the middle of the pack in pass def.
I know we have an inexperienced and young secondary but what do you think the reason is for the almost triple the amount of yard through the air??
Is it blown assignments, inexperience DB's, QB pressure, schemes, or maybe a Co-Defensive Coodinator problem?

I know I'm gonna hear shyt for this but....DB everytime I see a long TD he's always trailing behind it seems

1) Spread offenses
2) Teams playing from behind (except Aubie)
3) If you stop the run, the other team will try to pass.
