The most consecutive wins for LSU basketball in the PMAC is 23 wins set from the (80-81 season- 15 games) and running into the first 8 games of the 81-82 season. There are three other longer win streaks in other home venues(former field house, cow palace, etc.). Those win home win streaks are 25, 29, and 42. source Kent Lowe.

field house
They never played in the field house. The original venue was the "athletic field" which was literally an outside field at the pentagon barracks; they played there from 1908-1924. Then the Armory, the Ag Center, and the assembly center.
Looking at the overall records by year it's hard to pinpoint a time when a 42 game home win streak was possible but I'm guessing it was some time between '09 and '22.

The Tigers have won 17 straight home games for the first time in ten years. LSU won its last three home games in 2008 and its first 14 home games in 2009.
The Tigers' seven-game winning streak is their longest since recording eight straight victories in the 2014-15 season.
LSU is 4-0 in the SEC for only the fourth time in 50 seasons. The Tigers won their first four league games in 1981, 1995 and 2006.

Pretty sure Ceasar had "4-0" on his shoes in 95 for that 4th game. I forget who we played, but we obviously won.
