just get in a stream of LSU fans and you should be ok...you are a block from Peachtree Ctr Marta which is a homeless hangout...tiger bait 'em and keep moving.

You should be fine. There will be lots of people out and about...safety in numbers and the entire area isn't quite as bad as it once was. More development and aggressive anti-panhandling enforcement has moved a lot of street folk to the fringes. Just stay on the main streets and with other people as much as possible.
