SEC teams who make it to the N.C. game always need luck because the SEC can't be dominated by one or two teams year in and year out. All the other conferences are dominated by only one or two teams.
If LSU hadn't played and beaten V.Tech last year, V. Tech would have gone to the BCS Championship game instead of LSU due to V. Tech's cake-walk schedule through a weak ACC.
We were very lucky that the V.Tech game was pushed back from 2004--talk about lucky!
