The defense is just not good. I’ve never seen a team jump on every shot fake a team makes. I bet we jumped on 12-15 shot fakes from behind the 3 point line today

It wasn't a bad loss because UF is pretty good, but the lack of hustle on rebounds and getting faked out with every head fake by UF was bad. If they get 10 points from Days and a few rebounds (not asking a lot), they win.

Defense will keep this team from anything significant. And Florida is not even one of the more athletic teams in the league. Missouri will kill us on the boards. Arkansas will too, just from what I saw in the game before. We’re not a team that can overcome the ball not bouncing our way. We get outhustled and outjumped for rebounds against good teams.

This game felt just like St. Louis. Got down in the second half, couldn’t stop them, got it close and lost when they made a clinching FT to put them up 4.

Differences in this game:
1) They out rebounded us and had tons of 2nd chance points
2) We shot 40%. They shot 50%
3) We had 3 players in double figures and just 10 from the other 6 combined. Florida had 4 guys in double figures and 10 from the other 5. Days is supposed to be our 4th guy, and he was bad. Scored 2 points I think?

Weakness today was days and leblanc playing as bad as they could possibly play. Combined 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 9 fouls While getting destroyed inside on defense. The rest of the team played good enough to win.

LSU needs to learn to play team ball looks like a one man show not enough hustle and just never seems to have it against good teams that has players missing.
