Come back to me when Ludwig or Green can actually rebound the ball and play defense rather than just shoot.
Ludwig defends smarter than Storm. Doesn't have the same athleticism but is much much smarter and therefore, better in my book.

Ludwig and Green were good in all areas today. I was surprised that Johnson was wavering on whether to start Ludwig or Warren at the beginning of the season, now I see why.

Their tiger looks like it's from Calvin and Hobbes or something. Weak.

Much like the Auburn Tiger. You look at their mascot and wonder who decided to make them look like they are devoid of muscle.

Ludwig played better than anyone on the court for us. He did little things that some of our other players simply don't do, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. Probably the smartest player on the floor.
I don't know if I'd say he played better than anyone on the court, but he played a hell of a game today. For the most part, LSU played well. I think there is a lot of room for improvement (especially the bigs) and LSU didn't even shoot particularly well. Both of these may bode well for the future of this team.

Warren's athleticism does get him into foul trouble more often, but I don't think I agree that Ludwig plays better defense than him.

From start to finish, I really do think he played the best game, but it certainly won't show in the stat book. Dotson played well early, tapered off, then sort of made some costly mistakes at the end of the game. Turner started slow but then started playing well. Stringer had a solid outing.

Listening on the radio and watching the back end looks like the guys fought like hell.

I hope we get another shot at Memphis soon. We owe these frickers a beating.

I didn't watch as closely as usual but it's hard to win when you start the 2nd half so slowly.

I don't think his athleticism gets him into foul trouble, but his positioning. Ludwig plays much smarter and is generally in a better position to force an errant shot. Storm doesn't always do that and has to try to make up for it, which causes him to foul.

I like Stringer, but in this game I think LSU would have been better off with Bass.

Yeah well we led late, with just under five minutes to go.

Fought good, still lost, as expected.

They did, gave a great effort today. Outstanding game and there's plenty of room for growth for sure but for a young team that's had a little bit of trouble hanging on to the ball, Memphis is as tough a matchup as you'll find. I'm really proud of these guys and it goes to show the future for basketball here is bright.

Well I don't think Bass played badly, but when we made our run with that strange lineup of Ludwig, Green, Dotson, (insert player), and Stringer, we were playing our best. I think Stringer played well within himself today.

Stringer made some good shots and was good on the line.
Bass started off better, but I think Stringer played strong through the end.
