cause coleman is the starter for the next game, and you dont put that potential strain on him when you have your really good short man ready to go

You sir, are not very smart. The fact everyone is bashing you should be your first sign.

Well I don't need the approval of the entire rant. The rant has been wrong before.

But Coleman has done it before. Short relief today, start tomorrow.

I have been a huge Ott fan all season long, but I just think that Coleman is the best pitcher on the team, he has been a closer, so go with him.

Why not use our current closer, that happens to be an all american too?

You have yet to give a semi decent attempt of an answer at backing up this stupid thread.

Well it worked out for the Tigers, so I am extremely happy. I just wasn't going to wait for a screw up and then "second guess" after the fact. I wanted to state my case before hand. I stand by my statement that Louis Coleman is our best pitcher and I wanted the ball in his hands if he was 100%.

The rant is wise. Ten hail mary's. Never speak against Ott. It is not prudent.

Gotta get him in the pen. If you have to go to the pen in extra innings, I want the ball in his hands.

You sound like a little league coach who has no clue. That has to be the most asinign idea I have heard of in a while.

No one cares what you want.

So basically nobody on the rant has ever heard of the ACE PITCHER of your staff pitching in relief when the season is on the line. I recall Randy Johnson closing Game 7 of the World Series in 2001 after pitching Game 6. Didn't the D-backs have professional closers? Why go to the Big Unit then.... because he was there best guy available.

I was worried that LSU would drop to the loser's bracket with their SEC pitcher of the year drinking water in the dugout.

that would be a spit in the face to Ott to not bring him in.

Matty Ott is the LSU saves leader. He is an all american. What makes you think Coleman will do a better job? Matty has been in a closing situation more frequently this year than coleman, and we dont need to waste our final game starter.

But the season wasn't on the line tonight. Had we lost tonight then we would have had Colemen to pitch with the season on the line tomorrow.

Dude you need to stop posting in this thread. You make yourself look dumber and dumber with each post.
