Seriously 'dude', I'm not trying to one up anyone and I'm not 'predicting' Loston will start I was stating what IS IN the newly released media guide.
Eugene might start, I thought he would all along but according to the SID, TODAY, he is the back up.
The coach seemed non committal and gave more props to Eugene; perhaps that means the SID made a mistake, it happens, or it could mean that the cat got out of the bag before Miles intended it to.
Either way, GEAUX TIGERS!

Yes, and he refused to confirm a starter but he did give props to Eugene.
On the other hand, the media guide was also released TODAY and it shows Eugene as the back up.
Either Miles did not intend on the cat getting out of the bag or just didn't want to address it yet OR the SID made a mistake.
Not sure but IT WAS RELEASED in the official media guide TODAY!

how can you say he is the backup when THE COACH, not the media guide, hasn't announced the starter yet? And when asked about it, THE COACH talks about Eugene for the majority of the question....It wouldn't surprise me to see Loston take over for Jai by midseason at FS, but there isn't a doubt in my mind that Jai will start on Saturday......I'm just trying to tell you not take the media guide as the gospel of our depth chart.....

For the umpteenth time, I am a huge Jai Eugene fan. I have not said I WANT him to lose his job nor have I said he should or predicted that he would, I simply stated what IS IN the LSU Game Day Media Guide.

I think the Sid made a mistake. I think Eugene starts and Loston plays a whole lot this year as well.
