A certain QB named Drew was a Purdue QB once too.

Yea, but he was the starter, not a backup.

If etling is the qb all year this teams ceiling is peach bowl or outback. He just isn't good enough to get lsu over the hump.

If we can't make it "over the hump" It won't be because of Eltling. I'm very optimistic about this year.

Good luck to LIndsey Scott Jr... kid was an absolute class act. He's going to be very successful wherever he goes. And he's a good person as well so he'll be successful after football too.

QB Lindsey Scott Jr. has announced that he is transferring from #LSU. He had originally signed with the Tigers out of Zachary High.
There it is!

I first told yall last year that Scott and/or McMillan would be transferring or changing positions.

I've said it on a regular basis; just made a comment last week about it.

The Scott Entourage can now let their tears flow.

Mean ole Matt Canada didn't give him a chance.

O and Canada want QB's that can throw the football. (Not glorified running backs)

But but but he was the quarterback of the future. So many people told me so.
All of his friends from Zachary told us so.

He's not an SEC QB. (Neither is McMillan)

King Lowell might become one if he can up his game in the Passing department.

Maybe he will and maybe he wont.

Hopefully, gone are the days of "glorified running backs" trying to play QB at LSU..........

Should have let Jarvis continue his rampage through the Bama secondary.

not a bad strategy, rick, but I would've gone with Copeland at fb and given to hill. pure and simple. bama had not proven they could stop him. he went over 100 and had the ability to get 1 fkin yard with his ability. even if they had sold out on the run. miles got way too fkin cute and let his ego get in the way. he was asked about his "mad hatter" persona and let it affect his approach to the game. he coached us right out of a victory that night. I find it very hard to believe that hill to the outside behind Copeland couldn't have produced 1 yard.
im STILL bitter about that game. top 5 loss for me and ive been a legit tiger fan since '82

Best thing about this is some of will be proved right and some will be proved wrong. There are games to be played real soon this year for DE, LN, MB, JM, and Harris at UNC. Next year for Scott.

We will see who is able to rise to the occasion instead a fan telling me how great DE is and how bad everyone else is because their not their "favorite" kid who happens to play QB for LSU for now. He will either look like sht or be the second coming after that miracle surgery. If he does look like the second coming(and don't give me that mediocre "we don't need a guy who can make plays on his own" crap), I will eat crow in every thread I can find about him. I have my doubts.

If Etling looks like he did most games last year or starts like BH did last year, then he should suffer the same outcome, plain and simple. Don't care how tough, nice, or much he looks like a good QB before the ball is snapped. It will all be proven real soon.

we have fans thinking this kid is going to bring lsu to the promise land. That is a testament to how fricking bad the quarterback play has been at lsu that a mediocre at best qb is looked at by many as the guy to get us over the hump
Mauck nor Flynn were all world and prove that it's not impossible to win a NCG with an OK QB at LSU with enough support around him.
