If you think Alleva can pull the trigger or have any real impact on LM without Martin and the board's approval - you must not understand the politics that have run our program for years. It is not Alleva's fault it is systemic

if you don't give the fans a forum where they can actually voice their opinions (i.e., a forum that doesn't actively suppress all the people who have tough questions [think: TJ Ribs on Wednesdays]), they will find a way to voice them somewhere else (i.e., tiger stadium).

This, LSU needs to treat their paying fans better, this is not a dictatorship

This is the least of our recruiting worries. Losing and shitty offenses drive players away way before fans do.

So over the last two years, we have been mediocre at best, yet we've continued to recruit like gang busters. This year is no different.

You honestly think that the fanbase acting like children in the stadium won't affect that?

You really believe that? I mean seriously....
Do you think that all of the fans that are booing have the same solution to the problem?

What exactly do you think all of the fans think the solution is?

The "solution" may turn out worse than the problem. I don't want to return to the Hallman days, thank you very much.

Maybe the most immature response I've read. It's amazing to me that I'm actually younger than some of you people.

What does a letter to the fanbase asking them to support the program in a positive manner have to do with "stifling public opinion." What the hell do you think you post here for? So because you can't make it onto the air to berate our coach during a TJ Ribs interview, you're just going to do it in the stadium. How pathetic are you.

My comment was towards the post about the AD having as much control over the coaches as the fans...(and you know that, and it's still an absurd comment)

I think the solution to the problem is the qb play. Simple as that....qb plays better this all goes away, whomever that qb happens to be.

So you think IF one of the Matt's were to return our problem would be solved?

Yea, it will be the recruits...dumbass.

Sorry that is incorrect. The recruits will already be gone due to losing and lack of an offense that can get them involved....DUMBASS

These factor into recruiting before the fans. Players are only invole with the fans for about 7 home games a year. They are not that big, other than helping beat out other schools equivalent on the other fronts.

Saban is an a-hole an can get anybody. WHY? Cause he wins and develops talent.

LSU will always have a leg up for most in state talent cause they live around the situation.

For those usig the recruits as a reason not to boo, go find another tree to climb.

I said if we get better play out of the qb WHOMEVER THAT HAPPENS TO BE

I listed no names, no numbers and made NO suggestion to any players. Just better qb play.

Personally, I don't think a letter is going to do anything to our fanbase. If the product sucks again saturday and we can't walk and chew gum at the same time, you will probably here more booing than last saturday, i'm not going to the game but I'm just saying, you know our fanbase...

How has that not materialized already? People have felt our coach was a dumbass for years now. The media has only agreed with that. We've been mediocre the last two years. We've been poor offensively this year.

So please provide some info that we've recruited badly during this time. I'll wait and listen to your next dumbass rant about how it's inevitable without providing anything that would actually corroborate your point.

He has to be diplomatic, said what he had to say...if there are any real issues, he will let Miles know behind closed doors. How would the nationwide perception be if Alleva came out in public and critized Miles? He simply cannot do that...

I didn't know "People" have taken the field against either of those two teams to surrender.

I thought the team/players did that and I'm sure the booing they hear really pumps them up to please the "People".

lolz. Tigerdroppings is not a forum between the fans and the top brass of lsu football. Your rebuttal doesn't make any sense.

No. I think this is a qb play issue. that involves not only execution, but coaching as well. Like I said, better qb play. It doesn't happen on execution or coaching alone.
