FYI, that was the beginning of the end for Miles as he got badly out-coached by Dabo. We shouldf not have lost that game!

Blame it on Chavis and 4th and 19.

Just clowning around.
I don’t think I’m all that motivated to avenge a 2012 loss in a meaningless 2nd tier bowl game.

I was at the game. It was disappointing but didn’t affect anything. Including me.

Wel It wasn't meaningless. In fact it was one f the more bitter losses I can remember. I think it was also the turning point in Dabos career. We had em though until they converted that almost impossible fourth down.

Only two years from almost being fired, his previous bowl Game was a 70-33 loss.

Was to me. and it was 7 years ago.

Is there a single person in the football program today that was around then?

Using that logic the 2007 championship was worthless. The 7 game losing streak to Bama, worthless..

The 2007 championship was not worthless but it’s old news. It probably doesn’t mean much to this roster or coaching staff other than as fans. How can they brag about it?

On the other hand I don’t see how a 2012 loss in a second tier bowl game somehow needs to be avenged. I can’t imagine that the coaches or players care much about that either except when in fan mode.

Comparing a bowl loss and a long losing streak to your biggest rival is pretty silly.

I guess we have Notre Dame losses to keep track of too. And Penn State. How about Iowa and Nebraska?
