I agree the offense is dead until at least 2019. I wish I shared your optimism about the defense next year. I don't think our DL will be "loaded", nor is that a word I would use for any aspect of our team this year or next, unless it's used in the sense of being drunk or stoned.
IF everything goes perfectly in recruiting, we could field a competitive team, but not an SEC contender, in 2019 and MAYBE we could start thinking about contending in 2020. But that is the lightning fast track and, frankly, it would take everything going perfectly, which it never does, and all our coaches being great, which we don't know at all right now.
