Asked about Gunner Kiel.
Les didn't find it painful, wants the guys who want to be here, doesn't want anyone else. Kiel made a decision for himself.

On the 4 team playoff:
Gonna be exciting for college FB.
Says BCS generally gets it right, but the format expands on that and that it is positive.

New playoff format should be exciting for the sport and fans.

Focused on current team, and wants HB to focus on being the type of man and adult he wants to be.
Can Miles co host show with Saban or Spurrier, he said not sure about that. Don't have real problems with other coaches but could not be friends or vacation with them. Not share private time, recreational time with them but have respect for them.
Philosophy on not spread offense and running football. CLM said to utilize best talents of team, with mobil qb like Jefferson things were different. With Mett, big strong armed pocket qb less running use our quality rb's to our advantage. Make defense play the pass and the run to focus.
Was it painful to lose Gunner Keil to ND? Quality decision for Gunner, but CLM wants only kids who want to be a Tiger. No pain or issue from kid's decision. Want kids who want to fight for victory for LSU.

Jokes at the end that if he is going to host the DP show for one day he would rearrange the room. "When you turn your hose over to someone else" you might want to leave someone in charge because it isn't set up the way that I want to.
