The Tigers loss in every phase of the game and it didn't help that the team came out flat but my question is will Miles' inability and stubbornness be his demise or will he retire like the "OBC"? We may have a repeat of the Mac era and that would be sad to say the least. What do you think?

I think he'll be here another 5-7 years, he'll beat Bama once out of that stretch, but will only suffer one sub-10 win season and will play for 1 more national title.

The coach after him though, under whatever circumstance he gets here, will have 4 or 5 Bert-like seasons before getting run off as a bust.

Miles' coaching philosophy will win 80% of the games. He'll NEVER be fired while he's winning 9,10 games a year. We'll be very good every year, we just won't be Champions.

is it now considered a "demise" to go 11-1?

LSU will win another SEC title and NC before he leaves

You realize you can't win the SEC title and NC without beating Bama, right?

Miles would rather lose doing it his way than win doing it a different way.

As ridiculous as this sounds, it's the absolute truth. He will not change unless his job is in jeopardy, which it's not. His team will go down in flames running the ball up the middle over and over and over, because it's all he knows. As many other posters on here have brought up before, that is the definition of insanity, and he's getting paid 4 million dollars/year to do it. We have the potential for such greatness if he'd just be willing to adapt.
