Sometimes ISU beats OSU. Sometimes a 300 pound fat boy with huge man boobs blocks a FG. Sometimes a ball is batted backward for a miracle TD (or ran back 109 yards on last play of game). Sometimes a 6-5 UCLA beats their rival....etc, etc, etc.

Well, okay then.

Les Miles Appreciation Thread

Les is a good guy and will keep the program at 9 or 10 wins a year. There are really no complaints here other than the fact that I can guarantee that we will not win another NC with him as coach. Hell, the team in 2007 had 2 losses and had to beat Auburn at home with a last second hail mary.

Les also had BCSNCG caliber teams in 2006, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
Of course we all know had a troupe of biased BCS Human Poll Voters not gotten together and voted Okie State 5th or 6th in the final poll, LSU probably would have won it all in 2011.

As it is, Les Miles is one of only 5 coaches to coach in 2 or more BCSNCGs (Meyer, Saban, Stoops, Sweatervest.)
(You could say that Bowden, Johnson coached in 2 or more NCGs recently also.)

He's also sharper than many people initially thought. Brilliant the way he's managed to get most of the hater's including @ ESPN to either like or love him.

ESPN does not love Les. They make fun of him as do all the other sports networks.

It started that way, but the tone has gradually changed.
