So you think he starts at DT?

it's all up in the air with all new defensive coaches, I think he's versatile enough to play either position

Pep was a bit under the radar his senior year because he missed his junior year of high school with an ACL. His 10th grade year he put on a show and had the makings of the top talent in the state on defense for his class. He was a little timid his senior year when he got back from injury and already had committed to LSU, so he took it easier than he should have. He's progressed beautifully under Moffit and definitely has the size and strength to play anywhere on the DL. Most people have no idea how fast he really is though...which is a lot faster than Tyson

He's primed to take over the spot left by Tyson and the way he was used seem to indicate that will be his role. I really don't think there will be a droppoff at all from our front 7, infact I think we will be much better, especially with the new coaches. The LBers will be vastly improved, I really think Alem will be an All American, Pep will reaplce Tyson with no droppoff, we have several young situational pass rushers with speed, Woods will finally show us the dominance we've been looking for, and the other DT (Nevis or whomever) will be much improved as well.

I am having trouble believe that he is our best choice at DE next to Rahim Alem

with Sidley Corley, Chase Clement, Chancey and others i just dont buy it

I don't know how he has looked lately, but when Chase Clement first got to LSU, he had a long way to go before setting foot on the field.
