Initially last year I was angry, just like many of you. The loss to Florida after leading all game, the loss to Bama for the 8th straight time, the OT lost to A&M we should won in regulation.
However, now I see that all of those things set this year into motion. Those heartbreaking losses were the final straw that broke the camels back. CEO new it was time to change, and change fast. The readiness and willingness of this team to get in the lab and make the correct adjustments to be a top team once again.
Joe throwing the nail in the coffin pick 6 against Florida, leads him to come out this year and tear them up. The 29-0 loss at home agaisnt Bama brings this team to one of the most dominant wins agasint Nick Sabans Bama team ever. Losing to A&M should create a very similar design for this years game.
These things last year brought us to the teams and level of play we have now, and now I see that and know that the struggle was well worth it.

I believe O always wanted to run the spread because he knew there was no way LSU's offense from the past 8 years was going to beat bama and top teams. I believe thats why he went out and got Joe Burrow and Joe Brady. Burrow ran Spread offense at OSu and brady ran a open Offense with the saints. He saw Ole miss/clemson and those types of offenses could move the ball on bama and top defenses. He just needed the pieces and he knew it. He should get all the credit for doing what needed to be done

I hope we are up 100-0 on A&M and run the two minute offense as time expires this year. That frick job we got last year is worthy of breaking one off in some Aggie arse.

Most programs will have those setup years before a title run. We did something similar in 2010 before our 2011 run.
Teams have to learn to win and finish.
