I have not been able to read anything since the game a bit too disgusted. Has anyone brought up the last time out? There was 35 seconds at the end of 3rd down. We let them run the clock all the way down then used the time out as a ice on top of a iced time out I guess. If we had that 30 seconds afer the kickoff return we only needed enough yards to kick a feild goal tie. Long shot but better than a ice and a lateral touchdown attempt.

Honestly, the question is how can Miles not understand clock management?

How can the LSU HEAD FOOTBALL COACH not understand clock management?

Out of everything people are talking about with Miles, this is the most insane.

All I want to know is how can LSU's head coach not understand clock management?

How about taking the second time out due to the inability to decide whether to go for it on 4th down? To me that was even worse. When a team is milking the clock, that's 45-50 seconds per play.

How can he not understand clock management?

Dude has been coaching for a long time now

I usually give him the benefit of the doubt, but this is what blows my mind.

Coaches have a when to go for a two point conversion chart. Can someone make him a dummy card for how to use the final minutes of a game card?

I try to be comical about it myself, but when you think about it it's pretty fricked up.

Clock management is the basics of coaching, and he can't do it.

Guy can recruit his arse off, win a ton of games, but can't manage a clock. That is some crazy stuff right there.

it has been talked about a good bit...but honestly, that was only a minor issue with the game...

Not necessarily. Every new thread on this topic brings with it a new time remaining on the clock. It's like a "fish story" where it keeps getting larger. The first few threads I saw talked about 25 seconds left; that grew to 30; now we see 35.

I really don't think so...missing your chance for a last second hail mary is not the big issue when you threw three interceptions earlier in the day....

His implication is that if simple things like taking timeouts are getting missed, then how many other things are slipping through that we don't even know about.
