I would love to have someone along the lines of an Eric Hill / Michael Brooks come along. Not sure I see anyone that nasty on the horizon.

George Bevin, Mike Anderson, Brady

If you asked Jerious Norwood, he would tell you that Kenny Hollis was the greatest LSU linebacker ever.
Of course, Norwood still cannot speak about it to this day. In fact, the mention of the name Kenny Hollis just brings a cold, blank stare to Norwood's face, followed by nervous shivering.

Different era, but those were the dominant guys, along with Warren Capone, before Richardson, Brooks (and I'll add Eric Hill, who is deserving of mention in this company) and Bradie James. Trev is close to being mentioned, but so are a number of other linebackers.

mike calais was a bad arse on some bad LSU teams in the 90's.

Beast= Michael Brooks (mid 1980s). He is the gold standard of LSU linebackers.

Eric Hill...top 10 NFL draft pick
Michael Brooks...more of a pass rusher type on than a LB, but great.
Bradie James...154 tackles his senior year and was not a AP All-American? Underrated in the NFL and should have made the PRo Bowl the last couple of years.

I'm alittle giddy at Ryan Baker's potential
same here. if he plays linebacker like he plays special teams he may kill someone.
Got that right. When watching my replays, I go slo-mo to find Baker and then he leads me to the ball. Baker and Graff were my favorites. Graff for his speed and Baker for his consistency and hitting.
I agree on Bradie James.
+1, and I liked Trev Faulk too...Baker is gonna be a good one...just wish he would gain more weight and keep speed...

Eric Hill was the best I've seen at LSU

Eric Alexander was good
He could have been even better had he played LB for more than a year. The one year he played Lb he was very good
