Interesting bunch and tale of two fan groups within. You're just as likely to get invited to a church pot luck as you are to be dog cussed. At least that's what I recall from them the last time we played them...

That is great. I am bookmarking this post. I really can't disagree with this in any way. We are a unique bunch. We are die hard for sure. We will have a lot of fans at the game. If we have a QB who can read a defense or a Head Coach that can actually coach & attempt to win a big game, then it will be interesting.

At least they’re bringing 1/4 of a band as well. Fun energy when both teams have some Brass playing for them.

I just remember the last we played them and being surprised about:

A) a close game. 7 point win? Only one I recall against in-state schools in god knows how long.
B) walking past some 40-somethings and hearing some girls with us called whores, etc. was too old to scrap but the idea crossed my mind.

I went to undergrad at Tech. Tech is a great school. It provided me with many opportunities in life that I greatly appreciate. Ruston is a beautiful town with great people. I have always bled purple and gold though from a young age. But Tech holds a special place in my heart. That said, "Geaux Tigahs"!
