This is not some dumb conspiracy theory...

Yes, it is. Even if it were true if O can't tell boosters to frick off on personnel decisions He doesn't deserve this job.

Funny you say this. We are family friends with a player who graduated last year. He said that Cam Cameron was a very good coach but somewhat aloof and that his cancer was much more serious than anyone knew. He said Cameron was really pissed at Harris early last year because Harris had a GPA in the very low 2.0s and Harris couldn't check anything at the LOS, which is critical in Cameron's offense. He said Harris just couldn't do it and that's why the offense looked so different when Etling started playing. He said they were forced to be incredibly simple because despite being articulate Harris was horrible in the classroom, academic and athletic. Thought it was interesting and this guy's a straight shooter. Also said Miles's control over the offense's practice time and plan was significant and it frustrated Cameron. All that to say, intellect can play a big factor.

I get it. It's o's fault that Canada is having a hard time teaching his players the offense

I call bullshite

It's O's fault that he cut practices shorter.

Honestly, it's all about repetition. I don't care how stupid a person is, if they practice it and get enough reps in it, they can learn and then do it.

What is happening, is from O's own words about he's running thing, they are doing shorter practice and trying to learn more from the film room. You learn by DOING, not by watching.

For example, as a Texas fan, I had to sit through some of the worst defenses the last few years. You want to know the primary reason for this? Because they spent so much time repping the offense, that when the defense made mistakes, they would primarily try to correct the mistake through film review rather than actually stopping them and doing it on the field. I'm not theorizing on that either, it's exactly how Charlie Strong said they were handling the defense in practice.

It's repetition, that's it, if you rep enough, you'll learn it. If you don't actually do enough physical reps and then try to learn it from simply being told what to do in film study, you aren't going to be as successful.
