The guy already has frick you money. If he's investing it correctly, he already has created generational wealth up to his great grandkids if they don't frick it up. He doesn't need that money.
The type of people like him don't get to where they are because all they care about is money. All that dude cares about is football. It's his entire life. The money just happens. It's just a byproduct of football. He'd rather go to the house and just chill rather than become a habitual loser. He's not just going to be content losing football games just because he's rich.
I'm 100% convinced that people like him. Would do the exact same thing he's doing right now even if the normal pay was 150k a year. They just love football. It's all they think about. You wouldn't get to that level if it wasn't

On top of that, if LSU really is one of his dream jobs, who knows if he ever gets that opportunity again??

So you mean to tell me that catching a team full of new faces and new coaches the third week of the season with a quarterback, coming off of an injury and not playing barely any last year wasn’t ideal timing for Ole Miss? Before this team of talent had time to gel? And now two years in a row on the road there? I’m not trying to make excuses, but if the game would’ve been in Tiger stadium at night the result would’ve been completely different.

I rewatched it last night. And I agree.
Take the emotion out of it and essentially everything went right for OM (especially 3rd down conversions many of which were 3rd and 5 or more) and LSUs offensive and defensive woes the 1H.
The play that bugs me the most nobody talks about.
The 2nd okay of the game was very obviously a backwards pass. Lacy kind of leisurely went after it and our team just gave up on it. If we recover that backwards pass on Ole Miss 4 yard line and at minimum kick a FG, I think that totally calms the nerves of the game. They gave us a layup and we missed.

whatever flaws Lane Kiffin may have had throughout his career, "lack of confidence" doesn't sniff the list

The team gave up on it because it was very clearly whistled dead. The ref prematurely blew the whistle and took away the opportunity for us to make that into a much bigger swing.

What was the comment about where he said something like "well get that sign guy outta here"? I was listening on the app and the connection dropped for about a minute and I caught the tail end of that.
